changing roles..

the other day i went to help adrian do some shopping for stuff to donate to the orang asli kids.. so we went to IKEA where we can get all the stuff under one roof.. toys from ikea, books and stationery from popular and titbits from tesco.. all these are additional stuff because of some gracious parents who donated a whooping $600.. i know its not much but it does help.. so we spent $120 on toys, $280+$300 on stationery.. sadly there's none left for titbits.. but, adrian managed to grab a bag of Daims for them..

then on the way home, adrian phone rang.. it was some guy campaining for adrian to join fitness first.. adrian politely said he was just a youth minister and he doesn't have to funds to spare eventhough he really needs it.. (he said it.. i'm not making it up).. so anyways, he guy keeps on trying to persuade adrian to join.. and then, adrian found out that the guys was a roman catholic too.. (aha.. this is where the fun starts and the tables are turned)..

adrian: oh, so which church did you go to??
the guy: er, st. ignatious..
adrian: so do you go to church often??
the guy: *sweat* er.. only when i have the time..
adrian: how can like that wan?? then what happen when you die God don't have time for you??
haha.. after adrian hung up, he laughed and said "instead of him evangelising me to fitness first i evangelised him.. "

well, thats the good old adrian.. i on the other hand was having a good laugh and was already planning to put in on my bloggie.. haha..

That is SO Adrian! Love the way he turns the tables on people everytime, and of course, the way he manages to insert his faith into everything. God bless the man.

And yeah, nice meeting you, Xandra :) I'm like, for lack of a better/more relevant description, your CSS senior. Enjoy your hols...
